Grit is used to provide texture and improve adhesion between layers of Waterproof Sealant and Tough Coat. It creates a rough surface that helps the next layer bond better.
1. Apply a layer of Waterproof Sealant
2. While the sealant is still wet, broadcast (sprinkle) the grit evenly over the surface
3. Allow to cure for 24 hours
4. Apply the next layer (Tough Coat or additional Waterproof Sealant)
1kg of Grit typically covers 10-15 square meters when applied at the recommended rate. The exact coverage depends on the application method and desired texture.
