Decided to order the Liquid Rubber DIY Waterproof Sealer to fix the smallish leakes I had on my 10000 gal concrete drinking water tank. I had 4 crackes visible inside that were previously sort off fixed by previous owner using some epoxy resin. I used Water Stop cement based filler some time ago and it was working sort of ok. I found some moist areas on the outside of the tank in proximity of the internal cracks. The tank was finally drained again and I applied 2 coats of Liquid Robber Sealer IAW instructions for the product. The tank is now 75% full again and I have not found any damp areas on the outside since. It looks the problem is fixed for good.

Step 1: Empty and Clean the Tank
Wash or water-blast the entire interior surface to remove dirt, algae, old silicon/sealant and debris.
Use a wet/dry vacuum to remove any remaining water. Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.
Step 2: Reinforce Vulnerable Areas
Apply a first coat of Waterproof Sealant to these areas using a brush or roller.
While the sealant is still wet, embed the Geo-Textile into the sealant, ensuring there are no air bubbles or wrinkles. Brush out any air pockets for a smooth application.
Step 3: Seal Key Areas
Use Rapid Cure Spray to instantly set the product and accelerate the job. Ensure the Rapid Cure Spray is fully dry before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4: Apply Additional Coats
If fully encapsulating the entire tank interior, apply additional coats as needed to achieve a dry-film thickness of 1.5mm - 2mm (approximately 2 litres per square meter).
Step 5: Cure Before Refilling
Use a fan-forced ventilator to ventilate the tank and accelerate the drying process.

What is the best way to prepare the surface for application?
Use a power washer to clean the surface. The surface must be clean, dry, and free of debris, mold, and other contaminants.
Do I need to use the rapid cure spray?
The Rapid Cure Spray is used for the Waterproof Sealant to instantly set the product. It is fully optional but we recommend using it for best results.

What colour is the Waterproof Sealant?

What are the drying and curing times?
Allow each coat of Liquid Rubber waterproof sealant to cure for 12 to 24 hours before re-coating.
Before refilling the tank let the sealant cure for at least 7 Days.
