The Seam Tape is used to seal bigger cracks and holes and is an ideal waterproofing companion.
Our Liquid Rubber DIY - Waterproof Sealant can be applied directly over the Seam Tape for a optimal waterproofing outcome.
The size of the Seam Tape you need will depend on the size and shape of the area you are trying to reinforce or waterproof. It's important to ensure that the Seam Tape fully covers the surface that needs to be protected, including any cracks, seams, or joints.
If you're unsure about the size you need, it's generally better to err on the side of caution and choose a larger size that you can cut down to fit. You can use scissors or a utility knife to cut the Seam Tape to the appropriate size and shape.
It's also worth noting that if you need to cover a larger area than the size of your available Seam Tape, you can overlap multiple pieces to create a larger coverage area. When overlapping, be sure to leave at least 5 centimeters of overlap between pieces to ensure proper reinforcement and waterproofing.
While it's not necessary to apply the Waterproof Sealant over it, we highly recommend applying 2-3 coats of waterproof sealant for optimal waterproofing results and longevity.
